Louise Muckell Death
The death of a lady who was found on Tuesday in Co. Limerick with serious injuries has prompted the opening of a Garda investigation.
The woman, identified locally as Louise Muckell, was from Cois Deel in Rathkeale and passed away on Wednesday at University Hospital Limerick.
She was discovered with "severe injuries" around 8.30 p.m. on Tuesday at a home in Cois Deel, according to the Garda.

Dr. Margaret Bolster, the State Pathologist, was doing a postmortem on the victim's remains on Thursday, and a spokesman for the Garda indicated that the outcome of the autopsy "will determine the path of the Garda inquiry." Garda declined to comment on Ms. Muckell's injuries.
